Terms of Service
Last updated October 16, 2026.
These terms have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. They will be reviewed before they are treated as final.
These terms govern your use of this website and your calls to (209) 528-0498. By using either, you agree to them.
About our service
RapidHeat Stockton (“we,” “us”) is an independent referral service. We connect homeowners with local water heater professionals in Stockton, Lodi, Tracy, Oakdale and Lathrop, California.
We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, guarantee or warrant any repair, installation or maintenance. The professionals we refer are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, partners or franchisees.
How we are paid. Local professionals pay us for each connection. Because professionals pay us, we connect you only with professionals in our referral network. We do not review every professional in your area, so the professionals we refer are not a complete list of those available.
Your agreement is with the professional
The professional you choose sets the price, terms, schedule, warranty and scope of the work, and gives you a quote. Any contract for work is between you and that professional. We are not a party to it.
Ask for a written quote before you agree to any work. If you have a problem with the work, contact the professional first.
Licenses and insurance. California requires most contractors to be licensed. Before you agree to work, ask the professional for their California contractor license number and check it with the Contractors State License Board at cslb.ca.gov.
Information on this site, and emergencies
The content on this site is general information drawn from the public sources listed on our About page. It is not professional, engineering, legal or safety advice for your home. Water heaters, gas and electricity can be dangerous. Follow your equipment’s manual and the instructions of a licensed professional.
This is not an emergency service. If you smell gas, leave the building right away and call 911 first. Then call your gas utility. We cannot guarantee response times or availability.
Coverage and availability
We serve homeowners in Stockton, Lodi, Tracy, Oakdale and Lathrop, California, in the ZIP codes listed on our area pages. We do not guarantee that we can take every request, or that a professional will be available at your address or at a particular time.
Calls are answered Mon–Fri 8AM–6PM and Sat 9AM–2PM. If your ZIP code is not listed, call (209) 528-0498 and we will tell you whether we can take your request.
Using this site and calling us
When you use this site or call us, you agree to:
- give accurate information about yourself, your address and your request;
- use the service only for your own genuine water heater needs, and not for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harassing purposes;
- not place prank or repeated false calls;
- not copy, scrape or use automated tools to collect content from this site;
- not interfere with the security or operation of the site or phone line.
We may refuse or end service to anyone who breaks these terms.
Ownership, links, disclaimers and limits on liability
Ownership. The text, design, name and logo on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, republish or sell site content without our written permission. Linked sources belong to their owners.
Links. This site links to public sources and may mention professionals. We do not control other sites and do not endorse their content, products or services.
Disclaimer. The site and our referral service are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied. That includes any warranty about the quality, safety, licensing, pricing or timing of a professional’s work, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limits on liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. We are also not liable for the acts or omissions of any professional, including property damage, injury or loss arising from work you hire a professional to do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and some states do not allow some of the limits above, so they may not apply to you.
Disputes, changes and general terms
Disputes. If you have a problem with us, call (209) 528-0498 first and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Disputes with a professional are between you and the professional.
Governing law. California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. These terms do not include an arbitration clause or a class-action waiver.
Changes. We may change these terms or the service at any time. We will post the new terms with a new “last updated” date. If you keep using the site or calling us after a change, you accept the new terms.
General. If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of it. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about this site and our service. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
